Route 148 is a fantasy webcomic created by VM.

The webcomic is set in a modern setting in an alternate history where supernatural incidents are becoming frequent in some areas. The protagonist, Jack Reed, is one of the people that don’t pay attention to such things but the things sure seem to pay attention to him. It doesn't help that he owns a ranch that appears to be haunted.

This webcomic provides examples of:[]

  • Ho Yay: Between Jack and Linton, even though in the pre-reboot version this progresses into the stage where it's established that something is indeed going on.
  • Schedule Slip: Latest episode of this was followed by a reboot of the whole comic because of the author's Art Evolution.
  • Muggle Born of Mages: Linton seems to have oddly much insight into some things.
  • Weirdness Magnet: Lauri Salmi, even though Linton seems to think Lauri is the weirdness rather than the magnet.
